The Institute of Educational Assessment and Evaluation was established in January 2019, with Professor Liu Zhijun serving as its first dean. In December 2022, it was approved as an Incubation Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences in Higher Education in Henan Province. In December 2024, it was included as a CTTI (China Think Tank Index) source think tank by the China Think Tank Research and Evaluation Center.
Since its inception, the institute has focused on key research areas such as student evaluation, teacher evaluation, school evaluation, curriculum and teaching evaluation, and examination assessment. It operates under a "focus on fields – task allocation – project advancement – outcome generation" mechanism and promotes research through its "Yan Si Hui" (Research and Thought Exchange) model. The institute has achieved significant results in theoretical development, policy consultation, and practical guidance, gaining considerable influence in the field of educational evaluation in China.
Five-Year Development Plan
