Ø Introduction to Institute of Modern Education of Henan University
The Institute of Modern Education of Henan University, founded in 2005, was originally named "Institute of Educational Theory and Practice". ,It was renamed as "Institute of Modern Education" in 2009, and is one of the 50 key scientific research institutions of Henan University now. At present, there are in total 15 full-time and part-time researchers, including 7 professors, 7 associate professors and l lecturer. 14 of them have a doctoral degree, and the other one is a doctoral candidate.
Based on its own research foundation, this research institute has established two major research directions: modern basic education research and modern educational technology research.
Modern basic education research focuses on basic education curriculum and teaching evaluation, the research of basic education curriculum reform, kindergarten curriculum and children's development, teacher professional development and teacher education, as well as the rural basic education reform and so on. Among them, the research of the first three aspects have been relatively mature, while the latter two aspects are the research directions that the institute concentrates on and needs to strengthen.
The research of modern educational technology focuses on researches on the construction of educational technology discipline, the research methods of educational technology, and the application strategies of modern distance education in rural primary and secondary schools. The latter is also the research direction that the institute focuses on.
Since its establishment, the institute has achieved rich research results through the joint efforts of all researchers. He has published For instant, we have nearly 10 national scientific research projects approved, 4 horizontal research projects, as well as more than 30 provincial-level projects. There are nearly 30 monographs published by 30 publishing houses. More than 10 academic papers were published in A journal and more than 100 papers in B and C journals. In addition, the institution has won several scientific research awards of national level, provincial level and department level.
