Ø Introduction to the Institute of Informationization in Preschool Education

The Institute of Informationization in Preschool Education of Henan University was established in October 2011, with Cai Jiandong as the director and Zhao Zhenguo as the deputy director. The research team is mainly composed of professors or associate professors such as Wang Jide, Cai Jiandong, Yue Yaping , Hao Zhaojie, Zhang binglin, Zhao huicheng, Zhao zhenguo, Zhang yajie, Zhu shuhui, Yan jingjing. The research institute aims to solve the major problems in the informationization development of early childhood education in Henan Province, and to condense the appropriate strategies for the informationization development of preschool education in China, so as to make due contributions to improving the quality of kindergarten education and nursing in Henan Province and even the whole country.

 Background of establishment

Although the application of information technology in the field of education has long been a hot issue in educational research, the systematic research on informationization in preschool education is still few in China. With the implementation of national pre-school education and comprehensive promotion of informationization in preschool education process, informationization in preschool education will be one of the inevitable trends of preschool education development. Therefore, the school of Education Sciences takes the research direction of informationization in preschool education as one of the characteristic research directions supported by the college. After years of research accumulation, the Institute of Informationization in Preschool Education was officially established in 2011.

 Research direction

Based on Henan Province and radiating all over the country, the research institute has carried out systematic research on the problems and the bottleneck issues existing in the application of information technology in kindergartens. It has formed several distinct research characteristics and directions, such as research on the application ability of information technology in kindergarten teachers,, the design and development of preschool digital education resources, policies and standards of informationization in preschool education, characteristics and promotion strategies of regional education informationization in preschool education.

 Research findings

Under the guidance of the head of the Research Institute and the joint efforts of the team, a number of kindergarten research bases have been selected and plenty of theoretical and practical research work has been carried out. The main research achievements of the team in recent three years are as follows:

1. Main projects

(1) Research on the path and implementation strategy of improving kindergarten teachers' information technology application ability (BCA140054), Wang Jide, Zhu Shuhui, Zhang Binglin, etc., 2014 national education science planning project, in research;

(2) Research on suitability evaluation of preschool education software development (11YJC880002), Cai Jiandong, Zhang Binglin, Yan Jingjing, etc., the humanities and Social Sciences project of the Ministry of education in 2011 was completed in 2014;

(3) Research on the impact of educational information on the development of preschool education and its development direction, Wang Jide, Zhang Binglin, Zhu Shuhui, etc. commissioned by the Department of science and technology of the Ministry of education in the 13th Five Year Plan period, which has been completed in 2014;

(4) Research on Metacognition development and intervention in preschool children's mathematics activities (14YJC880113), Zhang Yajie, 2014 Ministry of Education Humanities and social sciences research project, in research;

(5) A study on the characteristics of metalanguage development in mathematical activities of 5-6-year-old children (JKGHC-0070), Zhang Yajie, 2014 Henan Education Science "12th Five Year Plan" project, completed;

(6) A study on the relationship between children's quantitative estimation ability and number sense development (2011FJY010), Zhao Zhenguo, Henan philosophy and social science planning project, completed in 2014;

(7) Study on school preparation and school adaptation of rural left behind children based on ecological dynamic model (DHA140274), Zhao Zhenguo, a key project of the Ministry of education in the 12th Five Year Plan of national education science, under study;

(8) Henan Province preschool education operation guarantee mechanism research, Yue Yaping, Henan Province Education Science Planning 2015 major bidding project, in research;

(9) Ministry of education teacher work department 2015 primary and secondary school kindergarten teacher training curriculum standard development project -- kindergarten teacher ethics cultivation, Yue Yaping, in research;

(10) Teaching modernization, Wang Jide, 2015 Henan University Science and technology innovation talent support plan project, under study.
