Ø Introduction to Institute of education sciences of Henan University
The Institute of Education Sciences of Henan University was founded in the 1990s, and had been selected as the key research institution of Henan University in 2003. The institute has two major research directions：
Basic theory of education Focus on the study of modern educational theory and educational policy. The aim is to explore the general principles and rules of education, and to conduct in-depth and systematic research on the basic problems of education, such as the essence, function, value, purpose, relation and system of education. On the basis of these basic principles, further education practice, combining the qualitative research with quantitative research to investigate the education policy issues, to find theoretical and practical basis for the optimization of China's education policy.
The history of Chinese and foreign education The research focuses on the history of foreign education problems and the comparison between Chinese and foreign education. We aim to discuss process and regularity of the birth, development and evolution of education system and the education thought in ancient and modern Chinese and foreign multidimensionally and deeply, Furtherly, we will provide support and advice for the contemporary education theory research, the changes of education system , as well as the education teaching reform practice in China, and draw the blueprint for the future of education healthy development, in order to promote domestic education theory and education practice to the high level.
