The symposium on academic exchanges and international cooperation was held in May 31 by the department of psychology. Nearly 20 professors participated in the symposium, including Sayward Harrison, Professor of psychology from the University of South Carolina; Kristen Varja, Professor of psychology from Georgia State University; Xiaoming Li, Professor of psychology from the University of South Carolina and the Yellow River Scholar of Henan University; In Jo Park, Distinguished professor from "support program for outstanding talents" of Henan University; Junfeng Zhao, deputy director of Henan Collaborative Center for International Research on Physical and Psychological Health of Vulnerable Populations；Guifeng Ding, Distinguished professor from Henan University; Feng Zhang, Director of psychology department; Xin Chen, vice director of psychology department and other professors from Henan University.
At the symposium, Professors introduced their respective research fields and related research work, carried out in-depth and effective communication and exchange on the research direction and problems of common concern, and reached the initial intention to strengthen the research on international cooperation.
